Anna Higgins

Hello there!
My name is Anna Higgins, Enneagram Type 9w1. I am a beach- loving desert rat who lives in Northern Arizona (and yes, we get snow here!); luckily I have developed a love for the pine trees and mountains. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 18 months in the Dominican Republic, and here found a profound relationship with my Heavenly Father and the Gospel. After my mission, I attended and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences with an emphasis in Developmental Psychology, and a minor in Spanish. I also married my best friend, who has been the best support as we figure out life together.

As I’ve moved through these big life transitions, I found myself stuck in loops; I would feel complacent, unseen, like a failure. When I found the Enneagram, I felt like a light had clicked on in the room. All of sudden my “default settings” made sense, and why I kept running into the same problems. And it was so empowering. Don’t get me wrong… it’s not comfortable to have it all out on the table. But I firmly believe that honesty and empathy are the paths towards healing, and the Enneagram offers both. As I worked with my own Enneagram coach, I was able to reflect on where these patterns show up most, and how I can recognize those loops before I begin to spiral.

Now, I am passionate about sharing this tool with others so they too make experience this “lightbulb” moment. For anyone looking for answers to the problems that seem to keep popping up, I believe the Enneagram can provide insight to why. I love to teach the Enneagram from the Gospel perspective. I believe absolute healing comes from the power of the Savior; coupling the Enneagram with the Gospel provides opportunity for profound change. I believe each person is seeking hope and healing, and in that space we are all like a broken vessel (Psalm 31:12). It is through the love of our Heavenly Father that we become whole, in Him. I would love to be a part of your journey, wherever you are, as you put the pieces together.
