If you were to ask me a few years ago, “What is one thing you would do if you knew you couldn’t fail?” My immediate response would be “play in the NBA.” Now considering my age and height, I realized a long time ago that this would never happen.

So, my second response would have been to help people. I have spent the last 20 years of my professional career helping people in various environments as a speaker, pastor, coach, and counsellor. The things that get me out of bed in the mornings, other than my 4-year-old, are the five tenants of my personal mission statement;

Nurture faith, inspire belief, restore the broken, enjoy life, and reveal Jesus.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters of Theological Studies. I am a Family Pastor at a church in Burnaby, BC, as well as a licensed marriage facilitator with Prepare and Enrich relationship counselling services.

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but recently moved to the other side of the country and now live in Langley, BC.

I love playing basketball and video games with my teenage sons, reading books, and going to the park with my toddler daughter.

With my wife, it’s all about the Raptors and Hip Hop. By the way, did you know that the Toronto Raptors are the NBA Champions?!

The Enneagram!

I came across the Enneagram a few years ago when I was recovering from a challenging divorce and trying to put my life back together. I had been hearing about the Enneagram for years from one of my favourite podcasts. When I first heard about it, it sounded quite complicated and confusing. But then again, I was looking for something to help me come out the other side as a better person. So I figured I had nothing to lose and took my first typing test. Sufficed to say, at first, I didn’t like my result and rebelled against my type. However, I stuck with it and quickly noticed the difference that the Enneagram could make in my life. It provided me with new clarity, insight, focus, and truth about my motivations and ultimately revealed to me who I was designed to be. The Enneagram helped me to figure out that there’s nothing wrong with me, I’m just a social 9 wing 1 who was living unhealthy. I’m excited to work with you to help you figure out who you were designed to be, as you notice the difference, the Enneagram can make in your life.
