Narrative Focused Trauma Care Certification 1 Narrative Focused Trauma Care Certification 2 Narrative Focused Trauma Care teaches and instructs in how to explore one's story to bring hope and healing to a person's life coming out of trauma. This is a coaching method called "story work" and equips a person with tools to understand their story and brings a person into a truer narrative of their story and into a truer intimate relationship with Christ.
A Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP) is a faith-based leader who has completed specialized training to support individuals and communities grappling with sexual addiction and related issues. This certification, offered by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), equips pastoral counselors with both clinical insights and spiritual tools to address compulsive sexual behaviors within a ministry context. What Does a PSAP Do? PSAPs are trained to assist individuals and families dealing with: • Pornography addiction • Infidelity and affairs • Sexting and online sexual behaviors • Clergy sexual misconduct • Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) • Sexual offenses • Betrayal trauma • Partner and family support • 12-step recovery integration • Trauma-informed care The role of the PSAP bridges the gap between spiritual guidance and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, enabling them to offer biblically grounded, compassionate care to those struggling with sexual integrity issues.

Mental health coaching is a form of strengths-based support for persons living with serious mental illness (e.g., bipolar disorder). Coaches help clients develop a healthy balance in life, give guidance in decision making, offer support in navigating mental health difficulties, and assistance in establishing a recovery plan. Coaches help clients find ways to obtain and maintain stability, manage difficult symptoms, rebuild relationships, and find a purpose for living. Coaches also help clients find resources for professional care and treatment, family support, and education.
