Becky Gualandi

My name is Becky Gualandi and I am so excited to walk alongside you in digging deeper into the Enneagram. I’ve been working in full time youth ministry for 13+ years. In those years I’ve had the opportunity to walk alongside students, families, and leaders as they navigate the difficult middle and high school years. I was introduced to the Enneagram in 2008 and have been hooked ever since. The Enneagram is a great guide as you do the work of learning how God created you and how you interact with His creation.

In recent years I’ve been using the Enneagram as a tool with parents as they seek to understand their high school students. Understanding your student’s needs allows you to best parent and grow the relationship. However, it begins with you. We walk through what your personal type is and then how your type interacts with those in your family. In families we have multiple rubbing points where we feel helpless to change; but what if we could understand why your student values an area differently and is looking for validation in a way you don’t understand. That is where the Enneagram comes in, it allows us to explore our own desires, needs, and values while also seeing how we express those in our every day life. Then it allows us to begin to understand the desires, needs, and values of our family members and how they express those every day. We can see how we are miscommunicated and begin to deeply value the unique ways God has wired each of us.
